Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms before registering, purchasing a recorded course or using any learning material provided through NS Online Education.
Last updated: 24 July 20261. Acceptance and scope
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of nsonlineedu.com, your account, and the recorded courses, notes, quizzes, previous-year-question explanations and related educational services offered by NS Online Education (“we”, “us” or “our”).
Your electronic acceptance, registration, payment or continued use of the website forms an agreement between you and NS Online Education. Contracts formed electronically are recognised subject to applicable Indian law.
2. Eligibility and minors
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract under applicable law. A learner who is a minor may use the website and purchase a course only with the involvement, consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for the minor’s use of the account and acceptance of these Terms.
3. Recorded educational services
NS Online Education offers self-paced recorded preparation for GATE Biotechnology and the Joint CSIR–UGC–DBT JRF-NET examination, including subject-focused Bioprocess courses. A plan may include recorded lessons, PDF notes, quizzes, previous-year questions and doubt support, as stated on its sales or checkout page.
Only the features, subjects, access period and services expressly displayed for the purchased plan are included. Unless specifically stated otherwise, courses do not include live classes, personal tutoring or unlimited one-to-one support.
4. Registration and account security
- You must provide accurate and current registration and payment information.
- Your login is personal and must not be shared with another person.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your password secure.
- Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may request reasonable verification to protect an account or process a support or refund request.
5. Plans, prices and payment
Before payment, please review the plan name, subjects, features, price and access period shown on the relevant course and checkout pages. The information displayed at checkout and in the payment confirmation governs that purchase.
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.
- Access begins after successful payment and account activation.
- A failed or pending transaction does not create course access until payment is confirmed.
- If money is debited but enrolment is not activated, contact us with the transaction reference.
- No automatic renewal will occur unless it is clearly disclosed at checkout and separately authorised by you.
- Prices and plan features may change prospectively, but a change will not reduce the access already purchased except where reasonably necessary for legal, security or technical reasons.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Refund requests must be submitted within two calendar days (48 hours) of successful payment. The request must be sent from the learner’s registered email address and should include the learner’s name, course or plan, payment date and transaction reference.
Requests received after 48 hours will normally not be eligible for a refund. Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method, subject to payment-provider and banking processing times.
This policy does not limit any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable consumer law, including where a paid service is not delivered, is materially defective, or is materially different from its advertised description. Duplicate payments and confirmed technical non-delivery will be investigated separately.
To request a refund, email [email protected] or contact WhatsApp support.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share, sell, rent or transfer your account or course access;
- copy, screen-record, download, reproduce or distribute content except where we provide an authorised download option;
- upload our material to social media, messaging groups, cloud drives, websites or other platforms;
- circumvent access restrictions, security controls or course-validity limits;
- use automated tools to scrape, extract or overload the website;
- interfere with the website or use it for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful activity; or
- impersonate another person or submit false payment, refund or account information.
8. Intellectual property and course licence
Course videos, PDFs, questions, explanations, graphics, website copy, branding and other materials supplied by NS Online Education are owned by us or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
A purchase grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the included material for personal, non-commercial learning during the stated access period. It does not transfer ownership or permit copying, resale, public performance, modification or redistribution.
If you believe material on the website infringes your rights, email us with identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material and your contact information.
9. Examination information and results
GATE, CSIR, UGC, DBT, NTA, IITs and other examination bodies are independent organisations. NS Online Education is not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless expressly stated.
Syllabi, eligibility, examination dates, marking schemes and official rules may change. Learners must verify important information from the relevant official examination website. Our analysis, topic guidance and previous-year-paper discussion are educational guidance and are not a guarantee of future question weightage.
Student results and testimonials describe individual experiences. Purchasing or completing a course does not guarantee any examination score, qualification, rank, admission, scholarship or employment outcome.
10. Access and platform availability
We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Access may be temporarily affected by maintenance, hosting, internet, payment-gateway, device, browser or third-party service issues. We may reasonably update, replace or reorganise content to maintain quality, accuracy, security or legal compliance.
You are responsible for a compatible device, supported browser and adequate internet connection. Streaming quality may vary with your device and network.
11. Educational disclaimer
The website and courses are provided for educational and examination-preparation purposes on an “as available” basis. While reasonable care is taken in preparing the content, errors or omissions may occur. Nothing on the website constitutes an official examination announcement, professional advice or a promise of a particular result.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NS Online Education will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website, reliance on educational content, interruption of access, examination changes or a learner’s result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer remedies or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a purchased service will not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.
13. Privacy and communications
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. We may send transactional messages necessary for registration, payment, course access, security, support and policy updates. Promotional messages will be managed according to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
14. Suspension or termination
We may temporarily restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe that an account is being shared, content is being copied or distributed, payment is fraudulent or reversed, security is threatened, or these Terms or applicable law have been materially violated. Where appropriate, we may ask for an explanation or verification before taking final action.
Termination for misuse does not entitle the learner to a refund except where required by applicable law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve a concern directly. Nothing in these Terms prevents an eligible consumer from approaching a competent Consumer Commission or exercising any other remedy available under applicable law.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, technology or applicable law. The revised version and its effective date will be published on this page. Material changes affecting an active paid plan will be communicated where reasonably required.
17. Support and grievances
For account, payment, refund, course-access or legal concerns, contact NS Online Education using the details below. We aim to acknowledge consumer grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within one month, subject to the nature and complexity of the matter.
